Its AI slop but it highlights that real verticality and density is lacking in open world games.

Most open world games are just barren fields with sparse trees and maybe a few small hills. The 'mountains', if there are any, will only take 5 minutes to summit. The forests are all clear and similarly easy to traverse.

Even games which FOCUS on traversal like breath of the wild are sparse and stunted in this way.

Developers need to put FUCKING TALL, HUGE, and CLUTTERED areas in their game
