What game youtubers did you enjoy while you were a kid? Do you still follow them?

I've been following Arlo for almost ten years across 3 console generations.
A lot of the Minecraft youtubers fell off but Arlo is still going strong. Dunkey has been around forever.too.

I was in my late teens to my twenties when youtube first appeared. I can't imagine being raised on that fucking thing like some gen Z and most of gen Alpha. Those peoples brains must be fried from the start.

I wasn't a kid, but a few youtubers I used to watch were Pyrocynical during his Leafy clone era, now he makes a video once per year and Caddicarus which was fun at first, one of the few nostalgia youtubers that played PS1 games and not Nintendo at that time. He fell off hard when he tried to make some shit with a puppet of himself or whatever but he now makes longform videos about the PS1 again, so I watch him from time to time. JonTron was very funny back then, but he got cancelled and doesn't make content anymore. I've been following DeadMeat since 2017, but he likes to take 6-month long breaks and give his channel to his unfunny friend and he reeks of polyamory. I still watch his kill counts whenever he feels like making them, though.

Youtube came out in 2005 man, someone who was in highschool at the time would've been born in the 80s which would make them an early millennial.

It was kinda "Before Youtube" but i remember stumbling over some site that did/hosted challenges (only showed the final bosses not the whole run) and collected/made compilation vids of various RPG super moves (usually in the form of AMVs wit JPop music or the games Battle themes). It was called something with "Holy Site" in it if i remember it right. Pretty sure it was already dead by 2006 cause Youtube.
