He’s asking for 900k and expects you to help him achieve AA. You better take this seriously because this is threat interactive. If you fail to step up, the situation could spiral quickly, and trust me, you won’t want to be caught on the wrong side of this. While UE5’s default anti-aliasing techniques can result in jagged edges and reduced frame rates, Threat Interactive is developing a more advanced and efficient rendering method that addresses areas Epic Games hasn't yet tackled.
>>716091051 (OP)Wait, really? UE5’s AA is trash. If they can fix it, I’m all in.
please dont tell me you'll fall for this /v/
>>716091093Same here. That AA is really the one thing holding back UE5. If they can clean that up, it’ll be a different experience.
>>716091136Just because you don’t get it doesn’t mean others are fooled. TI’s out here actually trying to solve problems.
>>716091051 (OP)Fun Fact: Threat interactive has never written a line of code in his life.
>>716091051 (OP)Come on guys! Let's drop a fat dono. He's based and redpilled.
>>716091156Exactly. The engine’s potential is there, but the jagged edges ruin the visuals. Hopefully, this new method actually works.
>>716091191You think that’s going to change anything? TI's focused on actually solving problems, not throwing money at your distractions.
>>716091239Fun fact: You’re assuming things you have zero proof of. Just because you can’t see the behind-the-scenes doesn’t mean it’s not happening. TI’s likely doing more than you ever have, so keep acting like you know what’s going on from the outside.
>>716091051 (OP)How likely is it that this actually fixes the performance issues, though? UE5 already runs poorly on some systems.
>>716091194he doesn't understand shader fundamentals. he complained about blur from AA even though AA blurs the image to not make it look jagged
>>716091382Well, if you’re just going to assume it won’t work without even trying, then of course it’s not going to fix anything. You’re not exactly in the driver’s seat here. TI’s tackling the issues where Epic dropped the ball.
>>716091280If they can get AA sorted without killing performance, that’d be a win. But yeah, performance is key here too.
>>716091372I've seen his commit history.
>provokes mass insta-melties every single time he's mentioned
how is he so powerful
>>716091421You’re assuming he doesn’t understand shaders? Maybe he’s just pushing past limits you’re stuck on. Keep focusing on the small stuff while missing the bigger picture.
Honestly, even if performance is the same, sharper visuals would be worth it. We’ve been dealing with AA issues in engines for so long, it’d be nice to see some real progress.
>>716091508Oh, you’ve seen his commit history? Like a few commits make you an expert on the whole project? Keep digging through it, though, while others actually build something.
Ti needs to buy himself a better marketing campaign, unless this is actually him in this thread in which case lol
>>716091051 (OP)I don’t trust crowdfunding for tech like this. Seen too many projects fail. Are they really capable of delivering?
>>716091603There's no evidence he has a project.
>>716091625TI’s busy solving problems, not chasing gimmicks. Keep laughing though real work speaks louder than empty marketing.
>>716091515he doesn't, he just thinks that it's a matter of tweaking settings. If he was a pro, then he would decompile games to make them more performant like Kaze instead of plagiarizing buzzwords from GDC talks

real funny with the 1 man llm spam you can stop now
>>716091643They already have a working prototype. That’s more than most people can show before asking for money. It’s not just an idea, it’s something they’ve put time into.
>>716091758Where is this working prototype?
>>716091701No evidence? Just because you haven’t seen it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. TI’s doing the work, while you’re stuck waiting for proof that fits your narrative. Keep assuming though.
>>716091732Keep labeling things while others keep making progress. It’s a good look for you.
>>716091728Oh, so now you’re a pro game dev too? Just because you think tweaking settings is the only solution doesn’t mean others can’t approach it differently. Maybe decompiling games isn’t the only way forward, and TI's exploring other, more efficient routes. Keep talking buzzwords while others focus on actual solutions.
>>716091807How do you know he's doing anything, why hasn't he shown it.
>>716091806Where’s your working prototype? TI’s busy building, not showing half-baked demos to satisfy instant gratification. Progress takes time.
>>716091919Just because it’s not on display doesn’t mean it’s not happening. TI’s probably focused on results, not appeasing people who expect instant proof. Keep asking for demos while others are actually getting stuff done.
>>716091965That’s your go-to? It’s funny how you focus on anything but the actual point. Keep distracting yourself though, it’s not like it changes anything about what’s actually happening.
>>716091051 (OP)Video games, faggot, VIDEO GAMES!
>>716091974I mean I made a new form of anti-aliasing last week it took a few days, part of my custom engine and all but it's not ready yet as I made it last week. But if I'd been developing it for a year I'd show it.
