Red pill me on Yoshi games. Are they good?

The only experience I have with Yoshi is Super Mario World. I never played any of the yoshi games.

Yoshi's Island is the best. Still holds up amazingly well and has some decent difficulty if you're trying to 100% it.
Yoshi's Story is worth playing for the ambiance, the music, and the art style, but it's a weird mix of being too braindead if you're playing casually but too autistically cryptic if you're trying to perfect it.
Nothing else after that is really worth your time.

The GBA port for Yoshi's Island adds more challenge levels and overhauls the sound effects. I would recommend the GBA port if possible.

Yoshi's Wooly World is oddly the closest in quality to Yoshi's Island. The Yoshi's Island 'sequels' like Yoshi's New Island and Yoshi's Island DS are not quite the same level of joy as the others.

Yoshi's Crafted World is quirky, but, kind of soulless and tedious in my opinion. Talking to those flower robots literally hundreds of times to do 'souvenir hunts' kind of sealed my opinion on it.
