ds and 3ds aged like milk. psp and vita aged way better. the emulators are proof of this. psp and vita games can be mistaken for console ports while ds/3ds are obviously "handheld downscales"

I genuinely can't pick. This is the only time when you can't go wrong with either console since both consoles have lots of gems.

The N64 kicks the ass of the PS1 on the technical level, most PS1 games were either 2D or used a shitton of 2D techniques that look 3D but aren't, also, nobody fucking remembers the PS1 for anything specific, the most I got out of it was Megaman X and in hindsight those games suck, I didn't even have an N64 but I can see it was clearly the superior product.

The real discussion is 3DS vs. Vita since both of those can play the games from the prior generation. For my money I love both, but the 3DS may slightly edge out the Vita.

DS has more games I like, but PSP has games I played for longer on average, though Monster Hunter Freedom Unite skews that average by a lot/
