Killing Floor is a classic PC game and to see it butchered to this degree to try and fit in with the cool kids is insulting to the OG fans who grew up with KF1 (and KF2 i guess but that was dogshit.) It will probably do okay in terms of sales but TW will be spending months, if not years, throwing buckets of water out of the ship just to get it in a state where people will like it more than they hate it. It's what happened with No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk and Halo Infinite to name a few. Only now it's a literal small indie company pulling this crap and who knows if they're around long enough to repair the hull.

Shooting zeds in the face feels good as always, I've wanted weapon mods in the game for a long time, they add some more variety to the game. Increased mobility is fun, adds verticality and some variety to moving around. New enemy abilities and verticality is more engaging, means you can't just aim at head height and only move your mouse slightly horizontally. Now I understand these are thing you probably don't like, but I do.

Youtuber here, I was planning on making a video about the stress test but I'm just gonna wait till they release the full thing and make a full review to prevent dumb fucks from commenting "this will get fixed during launch".
The stress test was definetely an upgrade but the game clearly feels unfinished and tripwire already said there is a chance some bugs from the stress test make it into the full release.

Playing through 5 will make 6's story more kino, but its technically fine to start with 6, you'll just miss out on emotional/wow moments you'd recognize otherwise. 4.1 is also a good choice since its an entirely separate story and the QoL changes there aren't too far behind 5 and 6, plus it has the best voice actors and lines in the series.

They did not fix A-Life. I cannot see that they did, even after i started a new playthrough. It still spawns enemies/creatures that home in onto you. You have to use a mod that removes those random shits. And yes, as soon as you get onto elevation or become innaccessible to mutant attacks, they run away and hide, you cannot even take potshots unless you flush them out with grenades.

Artefact hunting is meh - they flipped the spawns and now you get mostly trash or same trash (for me its Spring artefact) over and over. No new artefacts, no new effects (health regen, walk on water, reduced damage from bullets, etc).

They did not even overhaul stashes - you yet again have to use a mod. All you find as usual is just some low quantity of ammo, some vodka (i hate this meme that it reduces radiatin), some food. Thats it.

On the positive side, the pistol and rifle that they added - Colt 1911 and Nugget, are very enjoyable. The weapons are hit-or-miss due to balance, and that retarded thing they do these days called "loot progression".

What game has that is good - story, ukrainian vibes and music, open world, the atmosphere of running around abandoned industrial stuff and whatnot, and visuals (if your rig can take it).
