I think people do it because they feel like the streamer is their friend. They'll all wake up one day and realise the streamer doesn't know they exist, so that's why you shouldn't watch those people.

i watch a 40 year old russian mom play Arena Breakout Infinite because I like her voice.

He puts on face makes and makes signs to watches people he doesn't know who don't care about him play football and baseball, then goes crazy when one of the strangers hits or throws the ball very far.

However, for someone to watch a nobody do stuff, is maximum NPC. It means they're not even the main character in their own lives. There's a lot of people like that on this board, and they still feel the need to post. They obviously can't see the contradictory behaviour. If someone was just happy to watch, I wouldn't have to read their two digit IQ posts on this board. I spend all day getting rid of that garbage.
