Also genetics and raw reactions have very little to do with the game unless you are at the very tippy top of counter strike or you are at least good enough to be picked up by an academy team. If you aren't there, then you either do a lot of very little mistakes or big mistakes that are enough to kill your progress. At some point the difference between lvl 10s on faceit and actual signed pro players is finding these mistake and fixing them, and depending on the player's ego, that could take anything between 200 and 5000 more hours. From my foray into competitive games I've come to find out the biggest problem for the majority of players that make it to that level is the mental game. They are either too stressed when they play, they are nervous and take it out on their teammates or on themselves, they hate themselves or still think they aren't good enough, they don't adapt or change their trainings and drills, so they are stuck in one place for a long time. Despite the fact that they are more skilled than the average player, their attitude is such a net negative on their teams that the negatives outweigh the positives. If you take all of this into account, even if they had 0.1 second reaction times, they'd still not be good enough, because shooting heads, while extremely important, is not all that there is to Counter Strike. A slightly less skilled player that works like a cog in a machine and is fine to play with will be picked over the godlike aimbot prodigy that simultaneously has an ego about himself and self-esteem issues.
