it has been philosophically proven that books give a more accurate “gateway” to a real human experience than pictures.
Which is why everyone always says “the book was better”, people understand this concept on a primitive level.
If you think back on your memories you can realize that too, your memories are not primarily visual in nature they also include many other sensations and emotions. A book is able to trigger imagination of all those things as if it were a “real memory” unlike pictures which are primarily visual and often leave no room for imagination to fill in the missing pieces.

>philosophically proven that books give a more accurate “gateway” to a real human experience than pictures.
how can you philosophically prove anything? what a retarded statement

>Which is why everyone always says “the book was better”,
no, they say that because stories told in books are made for books and the story telling medium of a book, for example its not strange for a character to think through things in a book and for you to see their thoughts, to have a parallel between what characters are doing/saying vs thinking, but these are incredibly uncommon in movies and its way harder to sell.
not to mention books are a far longer experience, movies are usually 90 minutes, a 180 min movie is considered incredibly long, but most books are 8-12 hrs, with many being far far longer (notably fantasy which averages closer to 20 and has plenty of 50 hour books) so there is often a lot more in a book than a movie so a good book is just more.

>people understand this concept on a primitive level
this doesn't even mean anything, you are trying to say intuitive but understand that no one would intuit that so have scrambled for something retarded to say

please stop saying retarded shit
its obv you don't even read books, why larp about it.
