>>716136375 (OP)>Worst multiplatsActually the best most of the times, even fucking GTA San Andreas was better on the PS2 than it was on PC at the time.
As for the other consoles, many developers lamented the impossibility to do on other hardware what they could do on PS2, with Burnout being the most famous one.
>Couldn't run games at 60 fpsFalse, the majority of its library(and im not including the shovelware) did run at 60fps.
>480i instead of 480pfalse, it was capable of both and it was up to the developers to include the option to select which one to do, and it being available or not depended on the TV it was used on, not the console
>Huge failure ratefalse, cause the "failure" was more often than not a slightly loose screw anyone with a screwdriver could tighten back to how it was supposed to be, and given the console has a high reparaibility rate, it didn't really "fail"
even the first FAT models released in 2001-2002 can still be "repaired" by simply tightening one screw on the optical drive
>Shovelware galoreliterally irrelevant, doesn't take away from the amazing games it had
>Mediocre exclusiveswith the exception of Halo and Nintendo games, it literally had and even birthed the best exclusives which ended up becoming classics in the entire videogame industry
