Which country is this? For Us, I got the bundle from Nintendo and it’s a separate code on a paper. It makes no sense about the game being “on the console” already since it starts fresh ready for a system transfer.

Switch sold 152 million so far, MK8D is around 70 million. There are still plenty who either skips MK or are only interesting in other Nintendo franchises. It's still megahuge just like Pokemon but there's a reason why Nintendo spent so much effort making different games

Plenty of people have gotten their fill with the seriesbor are outright exhausted by it. I've been playing since the 64 days and j have zero interest in MKW. 8DX was more than enough content and a fairly high quality experience.

Game prices are too greedy, so I'll skip this console generation. Only games so far that I've been interested are Bananza and Metroid, so I'll just watch someones playthrough of them while I work. Its enough to kill my interest in purchasing these games, so if you want me money, you'll either lower the prices or DMCA streamers.

Agreed. Physical games have the most minimal packaging these days anyways. They’re only for lending and selling and now you can led digital games to family members (but only 1 at a time for a max of 2 weeks). Plus you got those shitty game key cards that are digital but make you change the cart.

The battle system barely evolves, sure, but now it’s buried under layers of gimmicks like Dynamax or that new “Bond Evolution” thing. Doesn’t matter though-shiny hunting streamers and waifu bait keep the machine churning. It’s not about innovation, it’s about comfort food gaming at this point.
