I've been frustrated with /v/ for nearly a decade because it feels like there's no discussion that happens in good faith anymore. Every major topic has a resident schizo that makes up 30-40% of the posts in a particular thread. Nobody wants to make posts of any substantial length or substance other than the schizo. Interacting with these particular people is going to lead to an inherently bad-faith discussion, wasting everyone's fucking time. Nintendie, steamie, snoy, xbot, slop, slop, slop, coomer, it's all so fucking exhausting. Nobody wants to DISCUSS. 4chan has always been the asshole of the internet, but it's gotten to a point that it feels impossible to have any sort of back and forth. Combine that with the fact that the average age of /v/ feels like it gets lower every year while I'm just getting older, it makes it hard to browse every day. I miss old 4chan, bros.
