ngmi. yoshis island is the only decent pick on there, World is among the worst Mario games, same with LttP, and FF3 gets shit on by every other turn based JRPG on the system, and gets even more mega shitted on by Tales of Phantasia if we're including SFC

I feel like the SNES library is really weak. I can barely list a top4 of games I would want to play in the current day:
Super Mario World
Super Castlevania 4
Megaman X (one list-entry to cover X1 - X3)
and personally I have a hard time even coming up with number 4.


Young-boy me would have advocated for the SNES ports of Mortal Kombat 2, Street Fighter 2, and Killer Instinct as the best games ever, but I appreciate now that they are shitty home-ports.
