You know what I care about/ really miss OP?
Sound/ music. I dunno, somewhere along the lines, in the old days you would used to have Konami games. Always, awesome sound design, melodic musics. And no, i don't mean your MGS5, even older than that game frens. I'm taling end of the '80, then '90 vidya. The soundFX and music were a thing of their own, also not heard like that in other media.
And just, fun.
Now, realism, music and sound is bland.
i miss those days, I think it's 90% about the music and sound FX why modern(er) games suck so much, They miss that Joie de vivre, especially in their music/ sound fx.
