>>716165925Rain World. very punishing, one of a kind, focused on both enviromental and mechanical exploration. slow-paced and rewards patience and thinking, but with frantic creature encounters.
Cogmind. one of the best designed roguelikes. a ton of mechanical depth and variety, very steep learning curve and unexpectedly (for the genre) inriguing lore and store that's fed diagetically.
NEO scavenger. unconventional pick, a bit rough around the edges. turn-based postapoc survival game with hardcore design and a lot of room for varied builds and roleplaying. bullshit at times, some text quests have instakill options, so think twice before risking.
Creeper World 4. unconventional (if you aren't familiar with the series), main gimmick is that you fight blob that spreads radially, and most of your buildings are mobile. fun, but can get repetitive if you aren't fan of TD. slow paced and has real time pause.
