I've played Lies of P and really liked it and its DLC, plus Code Vein which is fine but very mid.
Nioh 2 and Khazan are on my list for others to try out but are there any more that are worthwhile?

Nioh isn't really like souls but I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Master Ki swapping.

Blades of Fire.
An anon here recommended it and I've been playing it ever since. Criminally underrated game and the level design completely mogs From Software.

Last Hero of Nostalgia is pretty good. I really like the environmental effect when you light bonfires where the environment around the bonfire suddenly gaining more detail like parallaxed mapping and shit.

Nioh and Khazan deviate from the soulslike formula so widely they actively punish you for playing them the same way you do with other soulslikes. Especially Nioh given the fact iframe dodging is barely a thing and blocking and spacing is your main source of defense.

It's a matter of perspective.
I enjoy exploring the world in souls games more than the boss fights, and from that point of view Blades of Fire is a treat.
I also like leving up my weapons, it feels like they're getting their own character arc.

How is this different than any souls games, though? You explore an area and kill the enemies along the way until you reach a checkpoint, and maybe unlock a shortcut or two. Then you repeat the process.

i hear another crab's treasure is well-liked and classified as a soulslke, but haven't played it myself. i
somewhat off-topic, but i can't believe dark souls 3 and sekiro still haven't had their base $60 price knocked down when they're 9 and 6 years old respectively.

No. Play the first one. The sequel will immediately overwhelm you with mechanics, the first provides good "training wheels" and has fantastic levels too. William is also too based to ignore his story, dude is basically everything /v/ wants from a protagonist including an asian wife.

Lords of the Fallen is kino if you like older souls where exploration was the point and half the bosses were gimmicks
It's basically the polar opposite of Lies of P but I like both

People get annoyed by this comparison but you can play it like Sekiro. On the hardest difficulty it's way more challenging than Sekiro charmless + demon bell.

NTA but just because you can rest to reset enemies at a bonfire equivalent, or the fact that you can parry do not come close to making something a soulslike. This isn't all there is to it, but if a game isn't an ARPG it can't be a soulslike.
