What was great about the 750Ti is that it didn't require any external power. So you could buy some random second-hand office PC with a Sandy Bridge i5 for $100 (or less), slap a 750Ti in there, boom decent gaming PC.

A ps2 lasted me almost a decade, buying a ps3 was considerably more expensive than just building my own PC, same with most consoles nowadays, and you get more control over your budget and performance, upgradability, access to over 30 years of gaming history spanning most console generations, and multiple usage cases not just restricted to slop consumption.

Even a 350$ PC is very capable nowadays, with room to upgrade in the future.
