There are a few different movies or shows that are similar to what you're describing. Barry or Dexter probably comes the closest because it's mostly mundane scenes just trying to blend in. History of Violence could also fit. The Guest has a few scenes with this vibe but it's pretty stylized and unrealistic overall. It has some action scenes similar to the combat in Far Cry.
