>>716178463I think for millennials it's the pendulum swinging back from porn-overexposure during their youth.
They grew up during the peak of "sex sells" IRL and then the internet brought with it a tidal wave of porn. As they grew up, counter-culture sentiment grew against these male gaze products. Now they're seen as old-hat, chauvinistic and puerile. The latter would obviously strike a cord with people that were literally kids/teenagers during that era. Tho there's also plenty millennials on the "everything you thought was cool as a kid is still cool" train.
I'm not so sure for younger generations. Maybe it's partially the same thing. Maybe it's because playing neighborhood watchdog / white knight around social media has become a hobby for some people? I think it's got to be related to feminism or else they'd go harder on onlyfans models, which I imagine gets a special pass due to "female empowerment". I mean good on those sluts for not needing to bother with abusive pimps anymore I guess. Just weird they're kind of a protected species.
