It's like getting into Pokemon or Dead By Daylight at this day and age. it's way too overwhelming for new players. there's way too much to learn. it's not just the champions, but learning how each champion looks like in every cosmetic. League right now has a gacha mechanic where you can pay for loot boxes for a chance of getting cool cosmetics, but the rates are very low.

However I will say that it's very .... umm.... easy to understand. gameplay visuals are never confusing. new shop tells you what items to build. if you don't know what masteries to use, the game has pre-set load outs. you will just have to learn the different between fighters, tanks, mages, DPS, supports, etc etc ^_^
