I've noticed a lot of gamecube seethe posts around and with the release of the Switch 2, the kind I don't remember seeing before with a typing style and talking points that are pretty obviously just one or two guys. Gamecube sold better in japan than america, where it was dominated by xbox. It probably had the 2nd worst library of PS2/xbox/dreamcast generation, other than dreamcast. It has some cult classics like eternal darkness, and some games people still play to this day like ssbm, but that's about it. It went on sale for $99, and games went on sale for $10-20 before nintendo went all corpo greed mode. I think at that price it made a good secondary system to ps2 or xbox.
