I had the target boxes from Ace Combat 6 burned into my vision for a few days because I spent upwards of 13 hours a day one weekend trying to get through the game on Hard, getting especially stuck on those Strigon faggots before the canyon run level, and the AA in the last level. Nearly everything was overlaid with green and red squares, and when I closed my eyes it was like I was actually flying and aiming right for a battlefield below.

I used to play Diablo 2 when I was a kid for 36 hour periods every other day. I got sleep by blacking out or losing consciousness when forced to wait 4 or 5 seconds to load a new game and then waking up a minute or two later.
