Because SONY focused on gaming whereas Microsoft doubled down on MUH MEDIA SYSTEM faggotry. Nobody cares about Hulu and live sports and all that other shit. At least not "gamers". Microsoft keeps trying to push their media shit, instead of just focusing on making a good videogame console. You make a good videogame console, it will sell like hotcakes. This too. PS2 did Iron Man numbers and SONY got cocky and shit the bed. They saved face with PS4 but then they're doing the same retarded brain dead shit with PS5. The problem is that PCgaming is becoming more popular, so the more they fuck up the more they stand to lose, especially since now every game nearly has crossplatform, so playing with your friends isn't even an issue anymore. The only thing that's really holding them from completely losing their playerbase is the fact that PCs/graphic cards are still ridiculously expensive. If PCs were on par with consoles with price points, I think you'd see a lot more people switching to PC. I personally, plan to switch to PC next gen just because I can't do this waiting 7-8 years for one title shit anymore. It's pathetic, along with these faggots raising the price of literally everything.
