Built my PC from scratch (not counting keyboard/mouse/monitor) for under $1000 just last year. No idea why you would think you need this much money unless you're the type of person who thinks "mid-range" just means "Top-end Nvidia GPU that isn't a 5090". You can get an ACTUAL mid-range gpu like AMD's 6650 XT for less than $200

This room gives you a good starting point. Notice quality wooden furniture and decent tatami mats.
It looks like shit because bedding is ugly color with a bad pattern.
You'll remove the futon and hide it in the closet anyways. now you place the cofee table in the middle, place a bowl with fruits and some tea or sth. Put flower vase with some fresh flowers on the other table.
You can Paint the walls either more green, like on tatami mats, or go with red. Add some golden decorations/pattern. Change the color of the courtains to fit new colors, you can again have a golden accent on rope that ties the courtains. Put a big beautiful painting instead of that tiny picture. Preferably of beautiful woman, but it's up to you.

i did a deep dive on cheapo builds a bit ago, since i haven't done a budget build in like 15 years, the prices are insane now, you used to pay $500 on reputable sites for a high end budget pc, now it's $700 buying used or sketchy chinese shit for a mid range, your cpu won't be oc-ready (it was 15 years ago) your cpu won't have an igpu (it would before)
