I remember this thing scaring me as a kid. Something about its awkward movement animation and weird attempt at a face made me afraid. Getting the courage to destroy it in the N64 Shadows of the Empire was a nice feeling, but the fucking wampas still terrified me.

they still have a fucked up game where playing well gets you upgrades that make you stronget. very frustrating to be in a lobby with 3 maxed out snipers and some asshole no-lifing a starfighter.

sucks because it isn't a bad game at it's core at all. had the game released with cosmetic MTX only and none of the upgrade cards, it would have been a colossal hit

I can't imagine how the game used to be when it first came out. I tried the test and knew what was coming with the loot box shit, and opted out. Tried it for a friend this year, and most of that shit is just yours. You still unlock currency as you play but you cannot spend it on anything. Makes me wonder why they bother making you level up to unlock cards, because it doesn't feel like an incentive to keep playing when I see that some no lifer who keeps spawning as a rocket soldier just dumped his purple cards into instagibbing new players and then running away to wait for his rocket cooldown.

8/10 fun game.
