Yes. You cheated not only the game but yourself.

Do you also need a guide to fuck a woman?

Human activities tend toward greater complexity over time. As they do, new people rely more heavily on information from people who in the field who came before them. You can't name a space in which this doesn't happen.

The only people who think it's cheating are massive dullards who don't understand the way things work. It's similar saying that reading the textbook is cheating, or taking an MCAT prep course is cheating.

If you're under 25 , yes.
If you're over 25, no.

Kind of, but you still gotta play the game yourself.

Just because a guide tells you what to do, doesn't mean that you're gonna be good enough to follow instructions.

Depends what you believe, simple.
I hate old graphic adventure games because many are almost impossible to finish without a guide.
Not a problem in modern day because games are free and internet exists.
But imagine getting stuck after playing 15 minutes in game you just bought, kek.

This. I can read/watch all the guides for how to 1CC a bullet hell game or play a fighting game at a skill level to win at EVO, but without actual skill, they don't do shit

Yes, obviously.
But you can play with your toys however you like.

>friend watches me play Noita
>I know he is a retard that has trouble with any game he touches
>he even played BG3, his favourite game, on easy
>for more than 500 hours
>anyways, he downloads Noita
>couple hours in, he can't make it to the second biome
>"whoops haha look at the time, gotta go"
>he returns later the same night
>he spent the last few hours reading guides, watching videos and downloaded a few mods that added alternate starts
>stuff like picking between 50 perks at the start
>he obviously picks all the immunity perks, layers of shields, spells and wands that you would have to jump through parallel worlds to make
>mfw he still dies from stepping on cursed rock before reaching the second biome again
When I hear people needing guides to play a single player game already dumbed down for the average AAA consoomer, I immediately assume you are a retard like that friend. Sometimes I wonder if he only plays games to feel included, but he has been playing games for the past 25 years, he can't be as bad as DSP... The other day, he launched the Crash Bandicoot remaster, a game that he has played to completion as a kid btw, and he was malding to the point of checking a guide before he reached the 4th stage.

>Beat game as a kid
>Try to beat game as an adult
>Can't find out how to progress
I had to use a guide a few times in XC2, how did I beat this as a kid, maybe I have less patience
