I think both are good for different reasons
64 has better precision platforming while kazooie is more of an adventure, with better overall music / worlds.

Surprisingly enough the threads actually turn out pretty good in most cases. Like the Crash one had some nice discussion on the best Crash game.

Anyway, Awful Truth: Collectathons are alive and well, but they changed their name to "Open World", a Genre in a Big Level where you explore and Collect a Ton of useless things!
