MK became has been woke for many years now. Here's a funny for story for those unaware.

A company known as PCS has the license for MK statues/figures. They have made many of them through the years including figures for Street Fighter too.

They know the MK 9 designs sells a lot and made some of them before (Kitana,etc.). However when they wanted to make a Jade statue with the MK 9 design it was denied.

The company was pissed and tried to use the MK 3 classic designs and was denied too. They had to settle by adding cloth on the booba part of the MK 3 design for the statue to be approved.
