For their sake, I hope they have another 2D Metroid game in the works for the Switch 2. Nintendo should probably consider buying them and just having them work in the Metroid mines for awhile before letting them make something else.

Nigga, when KINGDOM HEARTS finally got ported to PC and was an EGS exclusive, nobody noticed.
THE Kingdom Hearts, the entire collection. That's three big wishes granted at once (all in one place instead of being spread across like 8 platforms, English releases of all the Jap-exclusive upgrades, and KH being on PC) and fuckin' nobody noticed.
It was so bad that people were begging for a PC port of the KH games AFTER the game was on EGS, and it was pretty rare to see someone actually correct them.

The whole thing was kinda made irrelevant by how overpriced it all ended up being, but still, that right there is the ultimate declaration of just how much of a marketing black hole EGS is.
For me it was Salt & Sacrifice, but that game ended up being really iffy and weird anyway and I never bought it, even after making it to Steam.
