the real answer beyond the memes is that after the second one the ip was taken away from the studio, and I think it got disbanded, but either way a different company was given the IP and they raped it, really badly. It's one of the worst games I've ever played.

You only control one din, the other two are controlled by ai companions. There are no formations. They give you a super special Mary sue dino at the start. It's piss easy. At the end they take away your Mary sue dino leaving you to power level a normal dino for the semifinal fights. The fossil cleaning feels like ass.
