Only for nintendo. They are the only source of good games left in this godforsaken hobby and I'll pay whatever they ask. If the price of anything else that isn't a nintendo product goes up, I'm not buying.

It's a pretty nice controller.

Also all Switch 1 pro controllers work on Switch 2 so it's not like there is a lack of cheaper options.

The seam on the front of the controller is where the faceplate is glued on and removing that faceplate destroys the glue in the process. Controller is completely opened from the front. There's one or two steps forward with repairability like the sticks, but the rest is an enormous stinking shit backwards, including a very aggressively glued-in battery.

The build was described as overcomplicated, the Dualsense is overengineered for a controller that's effectively the same thing on the inside as a Dualshock 4. It actually shares this in common with the Switch 2 Pro, which is effectively the same thing on the inside as a Switch 1 Pro but is overengineered to hell, apparently to discourage repairs and shell swaps.

Not him but the analog stick placement in the bottom of all the Sony “dual” controllers is and has always been garbage. Reminder they literally just tacked these on to the standard digital pad of the PSX back in 1997 as an afterthought and yet here we are. I don’t mind symmetrical analogs I think on the Deck and the Wii U gamepad they were fine. But the Sony placement is shit and so are all the 8bitdo controllers like that.

PC gamers probably contributed to the sales. The switch 2 pro is a good contenders for best controller of all time up there with the dualshock 4,5 and wii u pro. It fixes the switch 1 pros Dpad issues and the sticks are the smoothed I've ever felt.
