Palworld has significantly more freedom in both movement and combat.
You'd expect the multi billion dollar franchise could do better than some shitty indie company, but it's been clear since Gen 7 that the games are no longer a priority. Why put so much money and time into a video game when you can shit out a shitty Eevee plush and sell it for 2x the game's value for a fraction of the cost?

They've been doing mocap for major cutscenes in the last few games and that includes timed lip flaps, it just comes across as odd and unfinished with zero voice acting or even grunting.

It's quite bizarre to me Pokemon games simultaneously have the deepest competitive gameplay mechanics out of any turn based jrpg and at the same time one of the easiest games if you play camping. They couldn't even cap your lvl at 50.
