Yeah well there’s really not much going for the game once you’ve played 30 plus hours. Offline play is non existent. The shit they pulled with the online was just the final nail in the coffin.

Only on /v/ do you see such an aggressively angry reaction to skilled play in Mario Kart (which is obviously a thing as lobbies are always dominated by certain players). /v/kend threads usually have anons complaining about"tryhards" as if there's something wrong with.. pressing the right buttons at the right moments to succeed at the game.

Most of you suck ass at games so I understand why you'd want Mario Kart to be Mario Party levels of luck based but I fear that has never been the case-- skilled play has always mattered, that's why there's weight class, shortcuts, timetrials, and movement tech.
