Is it a download speed issue or a storage issue? If it's download speed, just download the game overnight when you sleep.

theres some households where they use phone 4g as the only internet source and in some countries they have datacaps
Anonymous No.716302201 [Report]
Sounds like a (You) problem. I haven't found a single PC game worth playing that was over 5 gb in the past decade.

I know about that, because I do that sometimes. It's a pro gamer trick. If your home internet is lagging, you just switch to your phone internet. It's called USB tethering.

I find USB tethering to be more reliable than Mobile Hotspot. You can do whatever you want.

Almost all american ISPs have a 1TB monthly bandwidth limit and charge $10/50GB after the limit. Some of them limit the overcharge to $100 and stop charging you extra afterwards.

1TB would be hard to use up. I think it's just download speed when people complain about game sizes. I just download big games overnight.

At least for me, USB Tethering has the same total limit as mobile hotspot. So wifi is just a better option

It's the graphics. If a game has a big world + good graphics, then you see these game sizes.

Devs are just not as smart as they used to be. Its like when I got Dirt or WRC and the game launched at like 30GB and by the end it was 90GB because the dlc needs to be downloaded anyway even if you never touch online or set your game to only play non dlc tracks online.

Every single cutscene is copy pasted for another language since pajeets are to stupid to use subtitles.
And of course the cutscenes are 480p upscaled to 8k with a shit filter.

I have 200 GB of roms that I don't wanna delete despite knowing that I won't touch 99.9% of the games I have. The games go from Atari Era to Switch. Should I get a HDD to store it and some other shit and leave my current SSD free for modern games or I should I get a 1 TB SSD and move all my games there? I'm just not really sure if HDD speeds are enough for Wii and onwards.

SSD are dogshit for storage, use hdd's. Get above 14 tb's for the helium ones that won't kill themselves from heat after a month or two. Or just get a small portable 5 tb one.

and no i will not spend €30 extra a month to get 100 mbps, i'd rather save that money and wait a bit for my games to download

Yeah for quality, sure, but how about some compression options for people who aren’t running a PBS server out of their bedroom? Give me the choice between “pristine FLAC-tier audio” and “I just wanna save 20GB so I don’t have to delete Yakuza 0 for the 6th time.”

>The entire storage of the console can receive about 650 GB worth of data, I think.

That's crazy. When you can only have 6 games installed, people will be picky about what they play. So many devs cry about
>why is nobody playing my shit
and this is one of the reasons.
I personally have lots of storage, but I still uninstall games for some reason. It's like habit from when I had limited storage.

Its definitely modern slop, no good game is that big, since good games consistently released before up to 2016.

You really do, because if you have delay, your reactions need to be better than the people who live in those countries. It's best to play on Aus servers.
