The threads here are just pretty shit, but no, I don't think they're deserving of "ban on sight" as there's low effort Twitter screencap threads that hit bump limit daily. Actually, because a lot of the usual guys have a different place to stay, I've found there's more room for actual series discussion. That being said there's a new game release in a few weeks which is shaping to be the best in a while, hopefully the launch thread isn't 404'd but /jp/ does exist, the downside there is that Touhou is no longer the biggest topic and is greatly surpassed in PPM by fucking Hololive of all things, which has a whole board to itself

Unfortunately, a few bad actors decided to consistently funpost every 2hu thread into oblivion and then when they were told to fuck off with the constant threads they started making stealth threads, so now they're just reaping what they sowed and we're all caught in the crossfire. You do have a point that there are plenty of threads that deserve the exact same if not more strict treatment but since moderation is a black box operation we'll never truly know what gives some threads the pass.
