The content design is superb, the dungeons are just objectively better, and the story is at least a bit more "active" in this game, and the ending is genuinely kino.
So I came away thinking it's fine.
I came away thinking "this is better than Breath of the Wild", and I'm convinced that people only remember the game they had in their heads while playing BotW, but not what the game actually is: An empty, barren Open World game with nothing in it except Shrines or Korok Seeds. When you're finally given a hint of something "mysterious" in BotW, it's a fucking Goron running a mini-game Golf course talked about as "making huge scary sounds". BotW sucked.
