As someone with no nostalgia googles that watched all the shows around 2021-2023, the Heisei era might just have the best collection of TV shows of any kid's franchise, ever.
I disagree with the early heisei-only fags tho, with exception of like 2-3 shows the heisei phase 2 is pretty solid as well, the seasons might start more lighthearted, but by the 1/3 or second half they show a lot of bite in a similar way to the phase 1 shows.
Reiwa era in the other hand is indeed very hit and miss, there's like 1 decent show every 2 bad shows, the Yuya Takahashi shows feel more "oldschool" in nature, and that became really obvious with the new Zeztz teaser, very sleek design.

I'd say Ultraman has higher highs and tends to be more consistent on account of having a stronfer cinematic pedigree/reputation. 2000s Kamen Rider had a helluva run, though. If only The First/The Next had been better movies...

As a phase 1 guy, Gaim was legit peak and makes all of my gripes with phase 2 worth it. It's wild how deep and well researched that show is, especially when you understand the Biblical themes in it.

Kiva's second half was.... rough. The main bad guy awkwardly comes out of nowhere and they do some bizarre stuff with the romance they built up for more than half the show. It's just not a good show, which is a shame because it has a strong start and some great suits..
