Think about it, they're at the end of every pipeline. Money doesn't flow from these game sites and such? who gives a fuck, that same money is going to flow from some other source.
Literally the only way to hurt them is if millions, fuck maybe over a billion, people decide to stop buying things online entirely, stop using credit cards entirely, and pay for everything in cash for months.
The other alternative is for some enterprising individuals to start creating their own payment processor or maybe American Express (Amex) steps up to fill this void.
Or there are laws passed/supreme court cases done that state basically that these payment processors can't simply deny business based on the products some other party sells.
One last alternative is that crypto is used exclusively for these sorts of purchases and its successful enough to make these larger payment processors to take notice and want a piece of it again.
