>>716354445 The entire internet is controlled by just a small collection of the same ~100 retards cross spamming shit between 4chan, twitter, reddit, tiktok, etc.
>>716354127 (OP) Great. Another fotm promoted by xitter. I'm sure some sleazy indie developer will take advantage of it and make some sloppy game to profit offf this trend
>>716354445 it's called fotm. you see, anon, there's been a whole bunch of layoffs recently. and AI is wholly responsible. and so all this >hey look at what AI can do!!! stuff will continue until someone can figure out how to actually use AI to make money.
>>716355116 is your solution seriously just make it exactly like DOOM original? only instead of all corpses rotating to follow you it's literally everything else, basically the entire scenery?
>>716355415 Realistically the only feasible way to make what OP's video show is have the entire game take place on a singular path where you can only move forwards or backwards while only looking ahead and nothing else. Which you COULD do and COULD be interesting but you'd be putting in some serious time to make it a compelling game to play.
>>716355606 i'd honestly already thought of that. i took it a step further, because it should be possible to allow just a slight turn. and so you start off but have the option of veering hard left, hard right or anywhere in between.
>>716355668 Of course you do, because you have no talents of your own to be replaced by. Nothing there to replace, you're useless to everyone.

>>716355606 There are several lgenres that would support it. Typing games, deck battlers, rhythm games, rail shooter except instead of shooting you're blocking and striking.

>>716355859 It's definitely a doable concept but probably not to the extent of what you could have in the videos outlined. The issue I see is the videos are portraying a scale way bigger than what you need, because you're confined to a singular straight line you're gonna have a lot space with nothing unless you size it all down, plus loading screens would be a huge issue unless you're really clever at breaking up the maps without sacrificing the perception of scale.
>>716356240 loading screens are less of an issue. we'd figured out loading screens by 2002. worse comes to worse, you're constantly loading chunks so small as to imperceptibly effect performance. it's all just billboarded sprites except for a few structures in most of these videos.
>>716354127 (OP) my wish is with the help of the AI we will have more games that look like this and not only Pseudoregalia

>>716356304 >>716354127 (OP) Could AI actually help to add scale to games, a lot of them feel so tiny even when open world because it takes so much development time and resources to make big world without just being empty.
