I haven’t played any of the Switch exclusive games and none of the Nintendo classics from snes, n64, gc etc. Switch 2 is too expensive for me.

If you're concerned about money, just emulate all of the N64, GC, and SNES games. You can get them all for free right now if you want. Buying an entire switch 1 for its now completed library seems dumb. Just save up for a Switch 2 and play emulated games in the meantime.

Last year, I got the white OLED Switch shown in your picture. I put it on my desk and plugged it into my computer monitor, using it with the Switch Pro controller. I have no complaints.

But, well, I don't own a single Nintendo game. I am probably the only person who uses the Switch as a low-budget JRPG machine for titles such as Atelier and Neptunia. I think it's perfect for that, because if you want to keep playing but you're done sitting at the desk, you can switch to gameboym mode and go play in bed.

The library near me has a huge Switch collection, they have every game that isnt rated M, multiple copies too, so I won’t have to spend any money on games. I have an 8shitdo pro 2 to use in dockmode. As a recent Switch buyer and current enjoyer I would absolutely recommend you get it. I got the oled model due to its bigger storage, bigger size and superior screen. My last Nintendo console was actually the N64 although I did play some GC and Wii.

i'm the guy you're looking for, i just had the exact same situation and bought me a swith OLED, for the same reasons, nad NO, don't buy a switch one, wait a bit or save for switch 2, i too had never tried any nintendo games before, and let me tell you, they're expensive as hell, so if you're gonna waste a lot of money for a previous console just buy the switch 2, you won't miss on any future titles like mario kart, dk bananza, and any other upcoming games like a new smash, etc

If you can find it significantly cheaper than the Switch2 at the moment. I think its a good deal and has great exclusives. The Switch2 I cant even buy a good memorycard for...I had a Swtich lite for a long time with 512gb of storage. But the Switch2 takes some express version of sd memory I just dont feel like spending money on. You can esentially get a used Switch 1 for the price they ask for the Switch 1 currently.

Then whenever you upgrade to Switch 2 you can always have all the Switch 1 games that run good on the original switch 1 and focus on games that run a lot better or are switch2 exlusive on the new system.

I recommend Ys 8, Valkyria Chronciles 4 and Fire Emblem Three Houses
