For the CODfags watching now, I have a message: It's over.

It's going up against Black Ops 7. If this was MWII three years ago Battlefield might have had a fighting chance once people soured on how slow the game was before MWIII turned things around, but BO6 is already insanely fast and BO7 probably won't slow down with the expanded movement.

Really its best hope is
>being fully functional out of the gate
>actually at least evocative of BF3 if not the impossible-to-reach BC2
>do not try to be COD with manic movement and focus on skirmishing
>extensive post-launch support

Those first three months are going to be do or die for Battlefield. Quite possibly permanently.
