I got three endings in this shit, is it worth it to find the true ending on my own or should I look up a guide and follow that? I think the game's good, but not great.

The true ending is absolutely retarded. Legitimately one of the worst endings Iโ€™ve ever seen in a video game. Iโ€™d recommend going with a guide, but if youโ€™re really interested.

I'm asking because I want to move on to something else, but there's still unanswered questions. Having to redo the puzzle rooms is obnoxious.

if you already have 3 endings then you might as well use a guide
the game has 3 bad endings, 1 true ending, 1 semi-bad ending that's required before getting the true ending, and 1 cliffhanger "ending" if you try to get the true ending before the required one

I got the ones where Clover kills you, you nearly make it out after revealing Ace to be the murderer but go back for June and the Submarine ending where someone kills everybody

Did you play the ds version? Because I played the steam version last year and there was a convenient flow chart where you could see which endings you already saw and skip to other points in the story where you didnt progress yet and will see a new one.
If i remember correctly all other endings are pretty much bad ones and only the true one concludes the story so if you are interested id recommend going for it.

I miss riding my bike up to fucking GAME to buy DS games based solely upon how the cover art looked.

the ending where you reveal Ace is the one required for the true ending, you got it because you specifically went through doors 5 > 8 > 6 in that order
if you go through door 6 without going through 5 and 8 first you get a different bad ending but that one is really short and pointless

Yeah, I am. This would make it easier on me

Yeah, there's still a lot of unanswered questions, but it mostly depends on whether I want to slog through the puzzles again to get to something I may not have done.
