Challenge is almost besides the point - the other forms all have strengths and weaknesses i.e. trade offs but the Elephant Form has no trade off.

Relatively 'late' unlock intended to make some of the post-game stuff not take forever. You don't have to cheese everything but you're given the option. It's not unlike using Dixie as your main Kong in DKC2/3 for the tighter platforming segments.

Elephant's slow and doesn't do as much damage as Kong. The ability is super strong but it's not like you're locked into a Bananza form, you can stance switch at will.
