Remember when Randy blew all his money on BL3 advertising? They had BL3 billboards in every city and bus stop. With barely any money, they sold out to EGS, and then lied about player numbers, quoting only store intakes, or showing EPIC's bot-inflated player count.
I remember the influencers that he gave early copies of BL3 to all said that it was boring and the game-stopping character dialogue was egregious.
Oh yeah and then there was the Borderlands movie, with JACK BLACK, that made barely any money. That alone was probably a $100 million loss.
When BL4 was at summer games fest, and Randy was allowed less than 1 minute of stage time because he can't afford more, you could see he was basically on his hands and knees begging people to buy it.
If this release goes poorly, Randy might actually kill himself. So don't be surprised to see shilling here on 4chan.
