I didn't enjoy the first DLC that much. The second DLC is wacky and quite different from the base game's gameplay, but not bad. Haven't gotten around to playing the third one yet.

I think it wasn't very interesting past the introduction.

1 is based on the short ending (so not canon)
2 takes place in Limbo after the main game and is basically CS surfing just being clunky
3 takes place after 2 and it continues the story after you wake up. It's very good.

The interiors were okay but I found the overworld pretty annoying with all robots immediately beginning respawn after you kill them.

You can easily cheese in this game. I played on hard. Fully upgraded shield is op af (but still fun). There are mid range melee parts that consumes energy (that the shield restores). Also shit tons of bullets.

It kind of felt like one of those games that was so fucking long in development that it went through a bunch of ideas with the final product being kind of bland.
