He is right, he can't. He needs someone else to Chaos Control with. The problem is that Ian thinks that Chaos Control is JUST making it so you go super fast so that time looks slowed down, when it is stated and shown in various games that Chaos Control is time and space manipulation to the extreme. Ian legit thinks that when Sonic was plummeting to the Earth's atmosphere in that capsule and he did Chaos Control, it was just so that he used speed to get through. Completely discarding the fact that Sonic ended up manifesting into a sealed room afterwards.
