Welcome to /v/, where the consensus is always doom and gloom until it's not. KF3 got hate because people expected Tripwire to fumble again after KF2’s rough lifecycle, and yeah, fair-KF2 had some scuffed years. But this time they actually launched the thing with decent balance, not-broken servers, and guns that feel good to use. It's almost like when devs take feedback and don’t ignore their entire fanbase, stuff actually works out.

Still, give it a month and the same people calling it a flop will be crying about overpowered zeds and "where's the new content?" again.
