I'm too autistic to enjoy remake or reborn when got ultra realistic environment with the goofiest fucking anime shit ever in it. My brain just can't take it seriously when it's presented so earnestly. Like the guy has a fucking huge sword and he just sits on a chair like it's nothing and it clips on his back supported by nothing.

It just looks so fucking dumb I'm sorry. I feel like a man child when I play these types of games. At least with the original the stylised anime aesthetic worked because the world was colourful and it all fit together and the dumb shit was more palatable. This trend of real as fuck character models and environments meshed with anime shit for juvelines isn't working for me.

Advent Children did the same thing but way back when. It's when FF stopped being whimsical western fantasy and everyone became ridiculous fashion models. Same complaints then that were ignored. Probably should have checked out there, final fantasy only got more cringe. A lot of fans thought 7 was cringe because it was the first to go hard on the anime shit compared to the rest of the series up until that point. FF7 had a little bit of anime cringe, but FF8 jumped the shark with the gunblade.

The real thing that takes me out of it are all the NPCs that look like completely generic real life people, it makes the main characters all look like circus freaks because of the huge clash in styles. It doesn't FEEL like a foreign world with it's own cultures and customs at all.

That's right. They also messed up Cloud and Sephiroth's face and hair. This problem started back with Advent Children. I HATE the fact that they changed Cloud's hair color from ' golden yellow' to ' bleached white'. And Sephiroth's face looks nothing like his original art design. Just look at the picture posted comparing the 2 Clouds. They are not the same character. The right one is just faggot that's cosplaying as Cloud.
