no. played it back then, loved it. tried again later in life, had the same experience like you. it takes me a few days or even a week to get fully into a game these days only to find out that I am bored out of my mind (CK3/HoI4/Terra Invicta) where as platformers are just not for me anymore, much as I loved the time back then.

I only played the trilogy because someone told me Sonic Unleashed ripped it off and I liked it way more than Sonic Unleashed because that game kinda sucks 70% of the time nowadays and 90% of the time back then because of the framerate
