Goumang was just a simple farmer who was a starving child that needed to modify her own body to survive and experimented on the apemen with yis help to maintain their society. Sure she was a bit of a bitch trying to kill yi first instead of giving up her sol seal of equality and the game did make it seem like he went a bit far doing what he did to her.
